My evening walk was a tad different to the norm tonight. Mal had a calf to catch and as Rhiannon has a cold, I was next in line to give a hand. So up to the farm we went to find this calf. It was as cute as, though rather sunken from not having drank for a while. We found it near it's mum who had passed away. The poor thing was still trying to suckle. So we gently rounded her up and delivered her to the shearing shed, where she will be housed and bucket raised until she is weaned.
Then, we took a walk up the paddock to inspect the fencing that is to be done in the near future. we are hoping to get some 'farm mates' to help with the project, which would be a huge bonus, as usually Mal has to work solo.

I hope Rhiannon's cold has eased up for her?
