This is about as live as it gets, as the party is still in progress! My eldest is celebrating her 18th birthday today. The evening started with extended family and close friends joining us for a BBQ dinner, and then the younger generation arriving at 8pm, to join us for the formalities of cutting the cake, and watching a power point presentation about Jess. Then the younger set adjourned to the new rumpus room in the shed, while the famiy concluded the evening out on the patio. Actually family left about 10.30 pm and we have just done the majority of the clean up. We are serving hot foods at intervals to the young ones, and their party will conclude at 2pm. We then will have a recovery breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast.

Party Celebration

How cool! Thank you for posting the photo... what kind of cake is that may I ask? I hope it was a success..and everyone enjoyed the lovely bacon and eggs and toast! :-)
