Tonight I had the honour of attending a friend's wedding. It was beautiful. I met this friend randomly at a scottish dancing night, and then again when I started working at a primary school. I was the integration aide and she the music teacher. Our friendship gradually developed and our lunch time walks gave us time to chat and discover common interests. It has been about 10 years since our initial meeting, and I now consider her to be a dear friend. Someone I can openly chat to, someone I admire on all sorts of levels and someone I am going to sorely miss when she moves interstate next month.
