Just for a change, we have had a couple of days in Melbourne. It is a 3 1/2 hour drive from here. We travelled down yesterday morning, and as we didn't leave ultra early, we got to our relatives about 1.30pm. We then caught a train into the city with cousins in tow, to go to a display at Federation Square. It was called Game on and was all about the history of computer games, starting with the old 'tennis' game that I can remember having at my folks place to the current day playstation three. There were heaps of games to play, including the hand held variety, and the old space invader table style ones. the kids enjoyed it and we had a good couple of hours there. We then returned to our accomodation for a bbq dinner. This morning we left the house by 8.45am and headed for Chadstone shopping centre. Our mission was for the kids to spend their christmas vouchers at Border Book store. Well we spent a good hour or so there, and made several purchases, then after coffee, we split for the kids and browsed. Meeting up with them again at a food court for lunch, then we had another hour or so of split browsing, another look through Borders, then headed back home.
So it's now nearly 8pm, and we are all tired but happy!
Tommorow will be our usual run around Sunday, then back into the working week.

Hi my friend,
I really enjoy browsing in big shopping malls..especially places like Borders. Tiffany and I usually hit Borders at Melbourne Central (and each do our own thing until it's time to emerge from there). Glad you had the chance to get away. :-)
